Accommodation Rules

1. The accommodation facility Vilabela (hereinafter referred to as the “accommodation facility”) provides guests with accommodation and services for a fee, at least to the extent and quality specified by the applicable decree under which the accommodation facility is classified as a lodging house.

2. The accommodation facility may temporarily accommodate only a guest who is properly registered upon arrival. For this purpose, the guest is required to present a valid ID card or passport at the reception.

3. Based on the booked accommodation, the guest may check in on the arrival day between 14:00 and 18:00. The accommodation facility will hold the room for the guest until this time unless another arrangement has been requested and confirmed. If the guest does not notify the accommodation facility of a late arrival by 18:00, the facility may release the room unless agreed otherwise. If the guest has paid an advance deposit, the accommodation facility will hold the reservation until 22:00. If the guest fails to arrive even by this time, the accommodation facility is not obliged to refund the deposit equal to the price of the first night. If the guest cancels the reservation, the hotel follows Section 35 of these Accommodation Rules.

4. Hotel check-in: Guests may check into their room from 14:00. A guest requesting check-in before 14:00 must pay the full rate for the preceding night unless otherwise agreed and confirmed by the hotel.

5. Hotel check-out: Guests must check out no later than 11:00 on the departure day. If the guest does not vacate the room by this time, the accommodation facility may charge the full price for the following night unless otherwise agreed and confirmed. If a later departure is approved, the following fees apply:
– check-out before 15:00: late check-out fee according to the valid price list
– check-out between 15:00 and 18:00: 50% of the room price
– check-out after 18:00: full accommodation price for the next night
The accommodation facility reserves the right to adjust the check-out time even earlier than 11:00 and must inform the guest in writing. If the guest decides to cancel the reservation due to this change, no cancellation fee will be charged.

6. A room is considered vacated only after the guest removes all belongings and formally checks out. The accommodation facility reserves the right to check the room inventory (furniture, appliances, etc.).

7. If the guest requests an extension of their stay, the accommodation facility may offer a different room than originally assigned.

8. Payment for the booked accommodation and provided services must be made upon departure unless otherwise agreed and confirmed by the accommodation facility.

9. Any outstanding charges for services must be paid by the guest no later than upon departure.

10. Reception and common areas are available for receiving visitors. Visitors may be admitted to guest rooms only with consent from reception. Staff may request a visitor to present a valid ID or passport.

11. These accommodation rules apply equally to all visitors. The guest who booked the room is responsible for ensuring that visitors comply with the accommodation rules.

12. If a visitor stays in the room for an unusually long time (more than two hours), reception staff may request payment according to the valid price list.

13. In justified cases, reception staff may refuse to allow visitors into guest rooms.

14. For safety reasons, children may not be left unsupervised in rooms, anywhere in the accommodation facility, or in its outdoor areas. The accompanying adult or legal guardian is fully responsible for the child during the stay.

15. Guests may not bring or use electrical appliances in the room except those intended for personal hygiene such as electric shavers or hairdryers.

16. Guests may not relocate furniture, make alterations, or interfere with electrical or other installations. Outdoors, guests may not pick flowers, damage greenery, or disturb exterior equipment.

17. The entire interior of the accommodation facility is non-smoking. Violation of this rule is subject to a 100 EUR penalty.

18. Guests are advised to check the room equipment and report any defects immediately to reception.

19. The guest agrees that during the stay, hotel staff (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) may enter the room in order to perform their duties.

20. Guests may not bring sports equipment such as bicycles or skis into rooms or any indoor hotel areas that are not designated for such items.

21. Guests must observe quiet hours between 22:00 and 6:00, ensuring they do not disturb other guests.

22. Guests must ensure the room is properly locked when leaving it.

23. A fee of 10 EUR applies for loss or damage of a room key. Lost keys must be reported immediately.

24. Before leaving, guests must turn off lights and appliances, close water taps, shut windows and doors, and leave the key in the room door lock.

25. Consumption of personal alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages in public areas is permitted only if approved by the accommodation facility. Use of the shared kitchen is allowed only if agreed upon in advance.

26. Guests are strictly prohibited from using the wellness area (whirlpool, steam sauna) while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Guests with cardiovascular diseases or other health issues may use wellness facilities only at their own risk.

27. Ball games and other sports activities may be played only on designated areas such as the playground to avoid disturbing or endangering other guests.

28. Dogs and other animals may stay in the accommodation facility only with prior approval and upon proof of health eligibility. Fees apply according to the valid price list. Conditions include:
– no access to areas where food is stored, prepared, or served
– no access to the wellness center
– dogs must be leashed and muzzled in all common areas; pets may not be walked on hotel grounds
– any contamination must be cleaned immediately by the pet owner
– pets may not rest on beds or furniture
– hotel kitchenware may not be used for feeding pets
– the guest is fully liable for all damages caused by the animal

29. Any damage to hotel property must be reported immediately. Guests are liable for damages according to Slovak law.

30. The operator is responsible for items brought into designated accommodation or storage areas. Valuables such as jewelry and money should not be stored in rooms. Liability is governed by § 758 of the Civil Code.

31. The price list for accommodation and services is available at reception or on the hotel website.

32. If the guest shortens their stay, the accommodation facility may charge the full agreed amount for the entire stay.

33. The accommodation facility is entitled to charge cancellation fees if the guest cancels their reservation. Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation fees apply as follows:
– cancellation more than 28 days before arrival: no fee
– cancellation 28 to 8 days before arrival: 30% of the accommodation price
– cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: 50% of the accommodation price

34. The fire safety regulations are visibly posted and must be followed.

35. A book of suggestions and complaints is available at reception.

36. Complaints are handled according to the Complaints Procedure, available on the accommodation facility’s website www.vilabela.sk.

37. Guests are advised to familiarize themselves with these Accommodation Rules and the GTC before booking. The operator reserves the right to amend the rules. Adjustments take effect once published online. If the guest disagrees with the rules, they are asked not to use the accommodation services. By confirming the reservation, checking in, or using the services, the guest expresses full agreement with the rules and the GTC.

38. Guests are required to comply with these rules, general moral and ethical standards, and fire regulations. If the guest violates the rules, the accommodation facility has the right to terminate all services before the scheduled end of stay.
